Not far off from everyday real life
I was reading all the blogs I read regularly. I don’t remember what they all said, but I remember there was a comment thread on a post Bernard had made at A Tiny Revolution that had been taken over by pro-American Empire trolls, and Bernard made a comment that it was a “Septic thread for a nation in sepsis”. Then I went to io9 and there was a headline that read “Demons Kill Me”, which was just a bunch of really lame photoshops of demons killing the guy who wrote the article, and it tied in with Supernatural somehow but I didn’t care enough to look into it.
Then Chris and I were looking at furniture on Craigslist, and it was all simultaneously really foofy and really dumpy, and I put on a really exaggeratedly gay voice and said “We are beset by lulu furniture”. I don’t think I even knew at the time what that meant, but we both laughed hysterically, mostly at the word “beset”.
